Peter Mah

President, CEO & Director

Mr. Mah is a professional engineer with over 30 years of Canadian and global mining experience in gold, silver, diamonds and base metal projects.  He has held several senior management roles including the President of Avanti Kitsault Mine Ltd, British Columbia, COO of Alloycorp Mining Inc., and Group Executive of prefeasibility and feasibility projects at Newmont Mining Corp.  Most recently he was the Chief Operating Officer (COO) at McEwen Mining Inc. where he was responsible for all open pit and underground operations and projects in Canada, Mexico, Argentina and the USA.  His expertise includes new mine construction and has a proven track record of building, transitioning and operating mines.  Most notable was the Debeer’s Victor open pit diamond mine where he was the Mine General Manager.  In 2009, Peter’s Victor Mine Team was awarded the Mining Magazine’s international ‘Mine of the Year’ award.  He’s a former Director at Mining Association British Columbia, Mining Association Ontario, Noront Resources and Argo Gold Inc.  He is currently a Director at Golden Lake Exploration Inc.  Mr. Mah holds a Bachelor’s of Applied Science in Mining and Mineral Process Engineering and a Master’s of Applied Science majoring in Rock Mechanics from the University of British Columbia, Vancouver Canada.

Sharon Ng

CFO

Sharon Ng is a member of the Chartered Professional Accountant of Canada with more than 20 years’ experience across diverse industries including mining . Before her appointment as Chief Financial Officer, she served as the Company’s Accounting Manager and gained valuable experience in managing the company’s financial affairs.  During her tenure with the Company she has played a strategic role in operations and financing.

Raymond Mah

Project Director

Ray Mah, P.Eng. has 40 years of professional experience in engineering, construction and mining including the successful completion of numerous mine developments in Canada, USA, Chile, and other countries.  He was Project Manager with Placer Dome Inc. for 20 years until its acquisition by Barrick Gold Corp.  Subsequently, he installed and led the project team at Yukon Zinc Corp. taking a late stage exploration project from feasibility study, design and construction and into operation.  Since 2012, Mr. Mah has been engaged to offer his expertise on several multi-billion-dollar projects as an Independent Consultant.  Throughout his career he has assumed diverse roles such as Owners Representative and Senior Advisor providing executive management oversight and technical support for projects in various stages of their implementation, encompassing feasibility/optimization studies, detailed design and engineering, planning and construction.

Doug Ramsey

Director, Sustainability and Indigenous Affairs

Doug Ramsey, M.Sc., R.P.Bio. is a Registered Professional Biologist in B.C. with four decades of comprehensive experience in environmental consulting with a focus on the mining and mineral sector involving well over 100 projects with a diverse range of environmental scenarios in Canada and around the globe.  Most recently, he was Vice-President, Sustainability and Environmental Affairs and then Chief Executive Officer (until a takeover in 2020) at Copper North Mining Corp. where he successfully concluded the project’s first consultation agreement with the indigenous community by overcoming a previous impasse in negotiation that had lasted 20 years.  For over a decade, Doug played a senior consultant role at a number of international engineering firms including Tetra Tech WEI Inc. and Wardrop Engineering Inc., specializing in environmental assessment, permitting and natural resources.  He has also consulted for several First Nations in Canada. Doug is regularly called upon to present and discuss scientific and engineering information with indigenous stakeholders and has made presentations on projects and mine environmental planning and reclamation issues at various Canadian and international conferences.
